With careful attention to detail and traditional styling using local materials and local craftsmanship, Residencia Thebussem, a neglected 19th century townhouse in the finest Andalucian tradition, has been returned to its former glory and converted into five individual appartments.

In addition to architectural aesthetics, some of the principal challenges facing the rondelli team involved in its renovation were to incorporate modern standards such as insulation, underfloor heating and communications cabling into the fabric of the building.

A number of exquisitely carved wooden ceilings uncovered during the project were painstakingly restored and the structure of one of the patios was adapted to accommodate a private swimming pool.
